It all began with...

a simple wipes case... and ended with a modified wipes case... minus the name I had made to be added.. because I lost the ribbon it was on. I'm sure I'll find it eventually!

I also made Liam a soft and cozy blanket... 1½ yards of printed fleece, 1½ yards of co-ordinating solid fleece for the back... place material on top of each other, trim to make all sides even...



Cut a 4" square from each corner




cut 1" strips all around



Tie each solid piece to a patterned piece until all sides are knotted. I used a double knot to insure it wouldn't come untied.

Dadgummit.. for weeks... months I can't get signed in.. so annoying.. I can post but always show up as not signed in.. can't respond to any blogs out there.. I would love to leave a reply on blogs.. just am not able.. so very annoying!!! gaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Hey Honey's ... I'm home...

... although you didn't even know I had been anywhere.. hahah.. Went to the beach for a few days with Rik, Cindy, the girls, Courtney, Spencer and the boys.. didn't see much of the beach but what we did see was great. Zeke was too cute charging towards the ocean...

Maddie made treasure maps and hid buried treasures for us to find.. way too cute!


Sophia ran circles around us all....

And Ben sat in a hole...

so much fun.. I am so blessed.. the only thing missing was Christopher, Michelle and Jace...

Ever had one of "THOSE" days?

I've accomplished a lot today.. cleaning, sorting, dusting, hanging with the grand daughters.. lots of stuff.. however, I can not for the life of me get this one project completed.. lots of wasted time and material.. but, I'm determined...

Baby Wipes container...

take 3 or 4.. maybe it's 5 or 6.. not sure now... I've cut, recut, glued, undone, glued again ... and have finally decided to leave it alone.. and start a new one~! I've discovered... a couple of times no less.. that "LESS IS MORE"......
I have also discovered these little cases are definately habit forming. I can see them done up for every holiday.. and special occasion.. just like women need a purse and shoes to match each outfit a baby must have one of these cases for every outfit/occasion.. whoa.. wait a minute!! Unless I have married a Rockeffeler or robbed Fort Knox I need to come up with a way to change these out instead of making a new one each time.. hmm.. Putting my thinking cap on here...*SMOKE shooting out the ears...* I could do those little sack things I've seen but that's just not the same.. I'm pretty sure these are not going to be switched out containers.. so, maybe, just maybe, I did marry a Rockeffeler after all...
